Tableau has always believed in the importance of treating personal data in a way that is both thoughtful and comprehensive. We will continue to protect customer data in accordance with data protection laws, including the RGPD and CCAC. We believe that these data protection laws are important steps in clarifying and enabling individual data protection rights. We want to help you focus on your core business while preparing you effectively and complying with global data protection rules. MODIFICATIONS These instructions are subject to occasional changes, and if we make significant changes, we can notify you by emailing you to the last email address you provided (if any) and/or announcing the changes on our website. Any changes to this usage data will take effect no later than 30 calendar days after the notification of the changes is published on our website. Continuing the use of our service after notification of these changes must be your consent to such changes and approval of the terms of these changes. The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which will take effect on January 1, 2020, is the highest data protection standard ever achieved in the United States. It grants California residents a number of rights to their personal data, such as the right to delete certain personal data, the right to be informed of the collection and processing of their personal data by a company, the right to obtain information about how a company uses its personal data and the right of companies not to sell their personal data.

The RGPD limits exports of personal data to countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA) in the absence of specific controls. Tableau gives its customers assurances that personal data is transferred and processed in different ways in accordance with EU data protection legislation. One of our main goals is to attract customers to life. In every office, region and entire employee base, we know we must always work to earn your trust and trust of data users around the world. This requires us to focus tirelessly on your customer experience – an essential part of that is that we are very attentive to the protection of your data. Tableau Online is structured to allow customers to control where their data is stored. The EU-based data centre is both available to existing and new Tableau Online customers wherever they are located, and disaster recovery systems are also in the EU. Existing customers can migrate their data to an EU-based data centre, while new customers can choose their preferred location, currently in North America or Europe, when setting up their Tableau website. THIS AGREEMENT IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THEM AND TABLE AND GOVERNS THEIR USE OF SERVICES. THROUGH THE SERVICES, YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THEY ARE PART OF THESE TOS AND TABLEAU`S PRIVACY POLICY (“PRIVACY POLICY”) AND, IF APPLICABLE, TABLEAU`S END USER LICENSE AGREEMENTS (“EULA”), AND ALL OTHER WORKING CONDITIONS AND CONDITIONS ON THE TABLE`S WEBSITE, ALL OF WHICH ARE INCORPORATED IF YOU ARE NOT AT THESE TOS TO AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICES.

If any of the terms of the terms of use conflict with the current confidentiality policy or ECJ, the terms of the ECJ or the current confidentiality policy apply to the contrary conditions.
